| The Excise Department has
seven- administrative zones viz. Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Kota
and Bharatpur. The zonal offices are headed by Additional
Commissioners. Each zone has District Excise Offices under its -administrative
supervision. The major functions
